Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you (the pool service business using PoolChem Log) and Gold Standard Web LLC. By connecting Jobber or using PoolChem Log you agree to them.

What PoolChem Log does, and doesn't do

• PoolChem Log records water tests, works out water balance (LSI), suggests chemical doses, sends service reports and, if you turn it on, adds chemicals to your Jobber visits.
• Dosing suggestions are guidance only. They are estimates from the readings and pool size you enter. Your tech decides what to add, and the product label's directions always win. Wrong readings or a wrong pool size give wrong suggestions. You are responsible for the chemicals your team adds and for handling them safely.
• PoolChem Log is not a laboratory, a health-department record system, or a substitute for professional judgment.
• Line items PoolChem Log adds to Jobber use the prices on your chemical list. Check them before you invoice.

Your account and your team

• You must be allowed to connect the Jobber account you connect.
• You decide who on your team gets a login and what they can do. Keep access to your Jobber account and your team's email secure; anyone who can use a team member's email can sign in as them.
• Don't misuse PoolChem Log, try to reach other businesses' data, or overload the service.

Your clients (homeowners)

• You are responsible for having the right to give us your clients' details and photos of their pools, and to send them service reports by email.
• We handle homeowner data only to provide PoolChem Log to you, as described in our privacy policy.

Trial, price and billing

• New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card required.
• After that, PoolChem Log costs $1 per active pool per month, with a $29 monthly minimum, billed monthly through Stripe. The number of pools can change during the month; the difference is added to or credited on your next invoice.
• You can cancel anytime; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. No partial refunds.
• If the trial ends or a subscription lapses, your account becomes read-only: you can still view and export your records, but nothing new is saved. We don't delete your data for that.
• If you disconnect Jobber, your subscription is set to end at the end of the period you've paid for.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.

Your data

Your data stays yours. You let us use it only to provide PoolChem Log, as described in our privacy policy. You can export your pools and chemical usage as CSV, and ask us to delete everything.

Jobber

PoolChem Log is an independent app and is not made or endorsed by Jobber. Your use of Jobber is covered by Jobber's own terms. If Jobber changes or limits its API, parts of PoolChem Log may stop working.

No warranty and limit of liability

PoolChem Log is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available but can't promise it will be error-free or always up, or that dosing suggestions suit every pool. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (including damage to pools, equipment or surfaces), and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending

You can stop using PoolChem Log anytime. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. After an account ends you can ask us to delete its data.
